"Every Debian developer is also an Ubuntu developer" indeed...

... to the degree that you may get unsolicited e-mails from Canonical flunkies, asking about your project timeline and status on an Ubuntu bug that is so crucial that it needs its very own project manager, but which isn't important enough to forward to the Debian bug tracker.

At the time I got the e-mail, I had already decided to give up on d-i development, so I had a brief gape at the sheer chutzpah of the thing and deleted it. In retrospect, I shouldn't have done that. I've needed a good laugh a few times since then, and re-reading that e-mail would have done nicely.

Anyone got one of these e-mails that they kept, so I can keep the lulz going 4eva? E-mail me.
