Flybooks and Linux

Stephan Hermann talks of flybooks, and wonders about Linux on it.

Wonder no longer. My boss got a flybook a couple of months ago (he said he didn't feel geeky enough turning up to client sites without a laptop), and runs Ubuntu on it a fair bit of the time. While he hasn't got quite everything working on it, I think all of the important stuff works.

As for putting it on the Ubuntu Laptop Testing results page, he lacks the time to scratch himself, let alone write down all of the details of what works and what doesn't. On the other hand, if you've got one in blue laying around, my wife has some time in the evenings to do all of the necessary testing, and her aging Compaq is starting to show it's age. <grin>
